VERY VERY SPECIAL

En ce premier lundi d’avril, ma copine Pascale a insisté pour que je l’accompagne dans une chasse aux œufs tout à fait inédite. Elle m’a dit : « Tu verras. C’est une célébration originale, très spéciale. Il y a d’énormes poules en chocolat, comme tu n’en as jamais vues… Et des œufs magiques, avec des surprises incroyables. On va s’éclater ! Il y a aussi des lapins malins, au bar et au féminin. ». Je n’étais pas convaincue mais je me suis laissée entraîner. Mais j’avoue qu’à présent, je me demande comment je vais bien pouvoir m’échapper de cette fin de journée… Et surtout de cette soirée qui s’annonce vraiment très, très spéciale…

On this first Monday in April, my friend Heather insisted that I join her on a completely unique egg hunt. She told me, «You’ll see. It’s a really special, one-of-a-kind celebration. There are huge chocolate chickens, the likes of which you’ve never seen… And magic eggs, with incredible surprises. We’re going to have a blast! There are also some clever bunnies, both male and female.» I wasn’t convinced, but I let myself be swept along. But I have to admit that now, I’m wondering how on earth I’m going to escape this end of the day… And especially out of this evening, which is shaping up to be a very, very special one…
