The Darzis, c’est d’abord un duo, composé de Lital Regev à la basse électrique et Amir Darzi à la guitare acoustique. Lorsque le troisième compère, Yoni Schlesinger, lui aussi guitariste, les rejoint, cela devient un formidable trio, dont les reprises sonnent juste et profond. Des Beatles (une trentaine de reprises) aux Bee Gees, en passant par Dire Straits, The Mamas and the Papas, The Beach Boys, Simon and Garfunkel, The Doors, The Kinks, The Byrds, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Toto, The Everly Brothers, Scott Mckenzie, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, David Bowie, Chris Isaak, Peter Gabriel, Neil Young, Lou Reed, Steely Dan, et quelques autres, leurs interprétations sont léchées et bluffantes. Une basse, deux guitares et trois voix, si cela n’est pas le bonheur, construit sur l’accord parfait, cela y ressemble beaucoup…
